Anyone living at your home or residence of record is covered by your plan. So everyone under your roof — parents, kids, grandparents, siblings and roommates — can all get the support they need.
Accidental damage for laptops, wearables and tablets includes drops, cracks, liquid spills and structural breaks. You’ll also have protection for all of your covered devices in case of out-of-warranty mechanical breakdown and power surge. Check your plan Terms and Conditions for details and exclusions.
We’ll help you become a master user of your smartphone and provide support if you’re experiencing a technical issue. But mobile phones aren’t covered under the protection part of your plan (that means we can’t repair or replace your phone).
Technical support, power surge benefits and services provided through the Pocket Geek Home app begin on your coverage start date. Mechanical breakdown and accidental damage benefits under the service contract begin 30 days from your coverage start date.
Your access to technical support is unlimited! Contact our tech pros as often as you need to. If you ever have to file a claim for accidental damage or mechanical breakdown, there’s a $2,000 limit per claim with a cumulative limit of $5,000 in any given 12-month period after the first repair or replacement. Accidental damage coverage is limited to laptops, wearables and tablets.
Yes. Some common exclusions of the mechanical and electrical breakdown coverage are misuse, abuse, neglect, cosmetic damage and pre-existing conditions. Check your plan Terms and Conditions for the full list of exclusions.

If we can’t repair your covered device, we’ll send you a new, refurbished or recertified item of like kind and quality. Reimbursements may be cash credit or settlement up to the original product’s current retail replacement value but not to exceed $2,000, less any applicable deductible.

Pocket Geek Home costs $24.99 a month, plus sales tax if applicable. For less than a dollar a day, you can have all the support and protection you need to outsmart your smart home.
Depending on the product you’re claiming, you may have a $0, $29 or $89 deductible per claim. Like other protection plans, Pocket Geek Home has a deductible for claims on certain products so we can keep your monthly payment as low as possible. However, our tech support team is available for no extra charge as long as you’re enrolled. Check out your Terms and Conditions for more details.
You don’t need to register your devices, and any future purchase of an eligible device is already covered.
